A silk scarf, also known as a silk scarf, is made of pure silk. It can be worn by men and women alike. The scarf can be combined in two ways: – full of contrasts: if you choose the scarf in the contrasting colour of your clothes, you will emphasise your face. Silk scarves look very good, but are very sensitive as far as care is concerned. They take improper cleaning very crookedly, so that in the worst case they can no longer be used and disposed of. In the very best hands the silk scarves are in cleaning. However, if you prefer to look after your silk favorites yourself, you should follow some care instructions:

– Wash scarves with different colours separately- always prefer hand washing if the washing machine does not have a fine washing programme, or wool or silk programme- wash by hand with lukewarm water- use only silk detergents- do not soak the silk scarf, only to move carefully back and forth – a little vinegar should be added to the last rinse water, this makes the scarf shiny and protects it from lime stains – the water should not wring out, but hang the scarf dripping wet – the silk scarf should not dry on the heating or in the sun – should not iron and should not be put in the dryer.

Manufacture of silk scarves
For the production of silk scarves, silk must first be obtained. These are obtained from the cocoons of the silkworms. The silk threads are now washed and dyed in hot water using bleach. Sometimes the natural colour is retained. It is then sun-dried and wound onto bobbins with a spinning wheel. The wound silk is then transported to a loom where it is processed into yard goods. Now the silk only has to be cut into the available sizes.
