Every human possesses fasciae. These are the soft components of our connective tissue in the form of thin skin. We find them mainly in the joints, tendons, ligaments, at the shackles and in the muscles. They are divided into superficial, deep and visceral fasciae. Their task is to separate muscles and maintain lymphatic flow. They’re connected to the nervous system. Unfortunately, it is more common for fasciae to stick together. This occurs when a congestion in the lymph is caused by tension. This leads to pain in various areas. The back is most frequently affected, but the neck, stomach or joints can also be affected. If a sticking of the fascia was determined, a fascia training is often prescribed. However, this training cannot be separated from the term sport, because one cannot be done without the other. A fascia roll is a roll that is intended for the self-massage of muscles, soft tissue and the fasciae enveloping them.
